I scrapped!

I finally got back to scrapbooking. I've been in a mad card-making mood for some time now. I have tons of cards that I've made and I haven't decided what I want to do with them. I was thinking of opening an etsy shop, but I am back and forth about it. Maybe, I should just open one and give it a shot. It couldn't hurt right?

Lately, things have been really mellow around here. Chris has been glued to the tv playing this game he bought for his 360. I actually don't mind seeing as how I have a room full of crafty stuff and limitless time on my hands....or so it seems with our hours at work being cut back due to college football! The more time I have off from work, the less I want to go back! Lol!

Last night, we did have our good friends over for dinner. We grilled up some hamburgers and watched the new Indiana Jones movie. Their son Isaiah, who just turned five was hacking up a storm! Poor kid could not stop coughing. James (his dad) asked if I had any cough drops and after a little searching I found some Cephacol throat lozenges. I told him I didn't think it would be such a good idea to give him one because even for me they are really strong. But his dad said he would be fine, so I hand the kid the cough drop and tell him not to swallow it. Whats the first thing he does?? Yep....He starts screaming bloody murder! OMG! I was so scared! It wasn't stuck in his throat obviously, but he kept screaming and asking to get it out. He said it was burning his stomach! I felt so awful! I should have known better, but then again, I'm not a parent and his parent said it would be okay! About ten minutes later he starts to calm down and asks if it will come out......of course my hubby, the wonderful man that he is, says it will come out in about 24 hrs. Lol!

This is the layout I've been working on since last night. I'm such a slooooooooooooooow scrapper.
This is my dog Reyna, but she hardly ever goes by that name. Lol! Its either Reynie, Reynita, and the latest name I've been calling her......... Reyn-bo.

I just remembered that Army wives comes on in a few minutes....so gotta run! Night!

Raquel, thanks so much for visiting my blog! I just started embossing, so I'm going to have to try that. It looks so cool on this card. What kind of adhesive did you use?

No, I didn't make my banner. It is just a picture that I found from a blog graphics site. Nothing really special, but it kind of fit the name of my blog. I don't have photoshop (yet) so I'm not sure how to make banners. There is a free banner site called 'The cutest blog on the block', but they are pretty generic. Cute stuff tho. :)

I know what you mean about making more scrappy friends. I've been trying to convince my friends that scrapping is fun and would give us an excuse to get together every month, but only one of my friends JUST started sb last week! So I found myself scrapping and being so proud of my work and not really having anyone to share it with. My husband will look at it and tell me it looks nice b/c he knows I'm fishing for a compliment. *LOL* So I just recently started blogging last month, and it's pretty fun.

Anyway, scrappy friend :), what kind of adheasive did you use for the flourishes that you embossed? I think I heard someone say (Tim Holtz) that you let the adhesive dry w/the embossing powder on it before embossing so it doesn't bubble??? Is that right?

Oh, you know what? I'm a total ding dong! I am sorry I didn't read on to see that you shared that stampset that you used!!! Ok, well, I am going to HAVE to get that set! I love, love, love flourishes, but don't have very many yet as I am just now getting into stamping and learning all kinds of cool techniques thru blogging and youtube. Thanks again for sharing your stuff! It's all awesome!!!
